When you come to the Kimbell to see The Age of Impressionism, don't miss another work from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute on view with our permanent collection. The Warrior, by the celebrated French Rococo painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard, will be a "Guest of Honor" at the Museum during the exhibition.

Visitors to The Age of Impressionism at the Kimbell will also have the opportunity to view some of the highlights of the Clarks’ American collection next door at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The Amon Carter is presenting John Singer Sargent’s celebrated painting Fumée d’Ambre Gris (Smoke of Ambergris), along with three other early Sargents, in the concurrent focus exhibition Sargent’s Youthful Genius: Paintings from the Clark.
